The House

 

This 2-bedroom, 2-bath cedar sided contemporary was custom-built in 2005-06. It sits on 82.32 totally secluded acres with a stream and two year-round springs.

There is also a board & batten sided pole barn and stick-built board & batten sided cabin.

Bordering 586 acres of DEP land in the NYC Watershed, it is located just 5 miles from the Village of Delhi on State Route 28.

This 82+ acre parcel includes approximately 15 acres of open fields. Roughly 20 acres on top of the hill is level and perfect for farming or development.

A half mile long private road leads to the house which provides complete privacy. The over designed steel framed wooden deck bridge is approximately 14 x 30 ft crossing a year-round stream.

Cabinets are custom built East India Rosewood and Cherry, a 12 inch wide locally milled antique Cherry board bar/countertop surrounds the kitchen.

    Second floor loft and master suite is 695 sq. ft with large double casement windows facing East and West. Cathedral ceiling throughout. Included is a walk-in closet area, sitting room or home office space. A large full bath with stand-alone tub and a tiled shower with sliding glass door. There are three operating Anderson roof windows upstairs with shades and screens.

    1000 sq. ft; 8 ft tall with 10 inch thick poured concrete walls including 4 working windows.
